One Piece Episode 1095 Explained
One Piece Episode 1095 introduces key players of the Egghead Island. We finally see the remaining Vegapunks in Egghead and we see a key piece of the puzzle of the Void Century. This episode mainly follows the Strawhats in Labophase while Luffy, Bonney, and Jinbei only appear a bit at the end.
The 6 Vegapunks in Egghead Island Revealed in One Piece Episode 1095
One Piece Episode 1095 begins with the Strawhats in Labophase- Sanji, Franky, Nami, and Robin facing off against Jinbei’s Seraphim model. The Seraphim catches them off-guard with a plethora of its abilities and powers. While the Strawhats still manage to hold their own- they are still taken aback and struggle at every turn.
It is hinted that this Seraphim has the devil fruit abilities of Senor Pink who had eaten the Sui Sui no Mi which allows the user to swim through solid surfaces. This fruit is aptly suited to the Seraphim since it’s modeled after a Fishman like Jinbei. Before the Seraphim deals any serious damage, Shaka intervenes and stops this experiment which is revealed to be a plot involving Lilith and Edison– the Evil and the Thinking personalities of Vegapunk respectively. Shaka here represents the Good and logical side of Vegapunks.
We also see Pythagoras– the Wisdom aiding Edison. York is finally revealed to be the representative of Greed and she looks to be in charge of eating and sleeping for all of the 6 Vegapunks since bodily functions are a hassle and inefficient to the rest of them. We also see Atlas engaged in battle against her holograms since she represents Violence.
Shaka has a chat with the Strawhats after saving them from the Seraphim’s laser. He reveals that though this island may appear futuristic to most, it is actually from the past since the kingdom that existed during the Void Century 900 years ago already used science and technology of this level- and that they were likely even more advanced.
We finally cut to Luffy’s group which includes Bonney, Chopper, and Jinbei rummaging through the island’s scrapyard where they stumble upon a giant iron armor. Bonney claims that most of these scraps which are Vegapunk’s inventions are just junk and of no real practical value.
One Piece Episode 1095 ends with Luffy and Chopper attempting to get inside to try and ride this huge iron giant. This iron giant is a key piece of the puzzle and it has some important moments in the manga- though we still don’t know much about it or what its purpose is.
