One Punch Man manga is going on a two-month hiatus due to undisclosed reasons and will be returning on August 22, 2024. Fans are disappointed because the manga has technically been on hiatus since February and Yusuke Murata (the artist) has been releasing re-drawn versions of previous chapters ever since.

One Punch Man Manga Returning On August After 2 Month Hiatus
One Punch Man manga is going on another hiatus after the release of the re-drawn Chapters 200 and 201 by ONE. The re-drawn Chapter 201 will release today, June 20, 2024, and after this, the manga will return with the next chapter- One Punch Man Chapter 203 on August 22, 2024.
Fans are disappointed because One Punch Man hasn’t released a fresh chapter since February 2024 and ONE is already taking another hiatus. While there’s no reason provided for this hiatus, fans speculate it is because of the many projects ONE is involved in including his own animation studio and a live-action.
One Punch Man Manga Re-Drawn Versions Explained
One Punch Man manga often revisits several chapters and releases “re-drawn” versions because ONE wants to change certain events or plots in the past. The last chapters that underwent this treatment are the latest Chapters 200 and 201.
The One Punch Man manga closely follows ONE’s 2009 webcomic by the same name as the original source. The manga version, drawn by Yusuke Murata already goes through several revisions to flesh out the action and the story but sometimes they aren’t satisfied with the previous versions so they will release re-drawn versions to retcon past events, and or extend fights to flesh out the characters and action more.
