Orangutan is playing VCL 2023 league in the absence of RvK
The ongoing VCL 2023 league is the most awaited tournament for the players and the South Asia region, who have been waiting impatiently for a long time. Orangutan is one of the teams out of seven that received a direct invitation for participation in VCL 2023. Orangutan was all set to play the opening match on 18th March with their star player RvK. However, just hours before the match, RvK opted out because of a severe ear infection, which left him with hearing impairment in his left ear.
Fans are going to miss RvK in most of the league stage matches for Orangutan in VCL 2023
On 23rd March, RvK released an update regarding his medical condition in which he said that he will be out of action for the next seven to ten days because his infection has not healed yet. His absence is going to be critical for the team in their next two fixtures on 26th March and 29th March. The team is still uncertain about his presence in the match on 9th April. His inability to hear out of his left ear is a big disadvantage and would undeniably affect his performance. However, his fans and team are praying for his quick recovery and expecting his comeback in the tournament very soon.
In Conclusion
RvK is one of the top five players of Orangutan, but his absence has not affected the team’s performance so far in this tournament. Orangutan is playing like a powerhouse with a substitute, which is a clear signal to their opponents that no one should take them lightly, even in the absence of RvK.
