Oshi No Ko Chapter 165 Recap
Akane reveals that after her arrest, Niino was really cooperative and provided the police with a lot of evidence. Not only did this help the police identify more murderers like her, but also found more victims. Even though Hikaru Kamiki was a monster, his involvement in the cases didn’t go beyond instigating the murders. Akane thinks that if she asked to be a decoy, Aqua would have declined her. Even though she wishes he left her a letter before dying, she knows he didn’t do it to save her from questioning by the police.
She then reveals how Kana attended his open-casket funeral and slapped his body across the face. This caused Miyako to slap her in retaliation. Kana then breaks down crying and says that she kept her promise of slapping him if he died. So now he also needs to come back because he promised her. She yells at him, asking him to come back because she didn’t get to tell him that she loved him. Akane hugs and consoles her as she keeps crying. During their next show, Kana kept searching the crowd for Aqua and his white lightstick.
Even though there were some doubts about releasing the movie, the director and producer decided to go ahead with it. The film became a massive hit due to the news of Kamiki and Aqua. However, Ruby hasn’t left her room at all since his death. When Akane visits her, Ruby talks about how everyone she cares about always leaves her. At first, Akane thinks that she might never be able to overcome this grief and perform again. But people aren’t as fragile as they seem.
