The members of B-Komachi reached Miyazaki along with Aqua and Akane in the latest anime issue. Aqua opens up to Akane about his past life as Dr. Gorou Amamiya and how he met a terminally ill girl named Sarina Tendouji. In a twist of fate, Ruby, who was Sarina in her past life, discovers Amamiya’s remains while taking a walk with Akane.

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 12 Recap
After Himura finishes composing a brand new song for the group, B-Komachi leaves for Miyazaki where they will shoot the music video. Akane and Aqua both accompany them since they just finished the intense Tokyo Blade stage play. After reaching their destination, the idol group begins to shoot the video at different locations while Aqua and Akane visit the hospital where Aqua’s past self Dr. Gorou Amamiya used to work.
Aqua opens up about his past, telling Akane how he and Ruby grew up in this town. He also talks to her about how he treated a lonely girl called Sarina in his previous life and received an Ai Hoshino keychain from her. The duo asks the people in the hospital about Amamiya, but can’t find any news about him. They then visited the location where Amamiya was murdered and the house we used to live in, but his body was nowhere to be found.
When they return to join the B-Komachi members, Akane tells Aqua to not go on public dates with Kana since it can tarnish her reputation. Aqua agrees and asks her to go back to the hotel with Ruby. While walking, Akane’s keys are stolen by a crow. Aqua chases down the bird and accidentally stumbles upon a cave where she finds the remains of Dr. Gorou Amamiya.

The final update will undoubtedly bring a lot of heat to the screen. After finding Amamiya’s body, Ruby might have a breakdown since she came to Miyazaki with the hopes of reuniting with the doctor. When Akane understands that Ruby is actually Sarina, she will try to get the brother-sister duo to disclose their past identities to each other. This will no doubt be extremely emotional since Aqua and Ruby will have to confront their feelings and come to terms with how fate played a cruel game on them. Fans might also get an update on the mysterious man who had previously introduced himself as Ruby and Aqua’s father.
