Oshi No Ko Sequel Novel Release Date Is Set To Be In December
According to the official website of Shueisha, the novel, titled ‘Futari No Etude’ or ‘Etude For Two’ will be published on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. The highly-anticipated book is being penned by Hajime Tanaka, with Aka Akasaka supervising the work. This will be the second novel to accompany the manga series, as the first one came out back in November 2023. According to the announcement, the upcoming novel will revolve around Kana Arima and Akane Kurokawa, and fans are eager to know more about their lives after Aqua’s death.
The first book of the series, Ichiban Hoshi no Spica, also written by Tanaka, was a prequel focusing on Ai Hoshino’s life as a young idol. It shows us what happened right after she joined B-Komachi and how a fateful deal with Ichigo, her manager, changed her life. We also get to see how Goro Amamiya and Sarina Tendouji met at the hospital and became unlikely friends. There was also an additional story in the book, created by Akasaka, which was added to the first episode of the anime series.
The final chapter of the Oshi No Ko manga will be released on November 13, 2024. With the shocking death of Aqua, fans are eager to learn about the stories of Kana and Akane.
