A visual glitch on Ashe’s upper lip is a twinge for Blizzard. Overwatch 2 is being castigated again
Overwatch 2 is in news again. After heroes like Bastion, Torbjorn and Mei were removed due to massive bugs that were breaking the game, it’s a new visual flaw that is making the rounds now. A Reddit user “tifakoro” posted a screenshot of Ashe, leader of an infamous Deadlock Gang. The clipping error was noticed just above Ashe’s upper lip. The error was mainly noticed during Ashe’s Battle Pass Highlight Intro.
More on Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2, a first-person shooter game developed by Blizzard Entertainment, was released on 4th October 2022. It is a sequel to the critically acclaimed and popular 2016 hero shooter Overwatch. The new title gained popularity in the first month of its launch with a record player count within the earliest few weeks. But sadly, things changed vividly. With a score of game-crashing issues, DDos attacks, bugs bothering, heroes being removed, and issues with online matchmaking, Overwatch 2 had a rough pitch to bat. This new visual error was added to the list.
Overwatch 2 is available on platforms like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Conclusion
Overwatch is known for its vibrant cosmetics. The sequel too is full of cosmetics, sprays, voice lines, emotes, and many more. Normally these cosmetics are glistening and precise, but errors like this are bothering the fans. Fans have voiced their displeasure by saying, glitches of this sort are undesirable since they are paying for them. On a lighter note, fans even pointed out the error noticed above Ashe’s upper lip as a mustache or a mole. Let’s hope Ashe doesn’t get removed from Overwatch 2 like Mei and others.
