Revenant Esports and Marcos Gaming exit Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League
Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League is up with its Finals. Top teams from East Asia, Southeast Asia and Indian leagues made their way to the grand stage. The Finals began today with the Group Stage fixtures. All the matches were best-of-three-game series, Marcos Gaming and Revenant Esports played their respective fixtures. However, the results were not what they were looking for as the India League champions and runners-up had to pack their bags. Despite their full efforts, both the Indian teams lost their respective fixtures and are now heading back home.

The teams were drawn into two groups, Group A and Group B for the Group Stage actions of the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League Finals. Marcos Gaming was drawn into Group A alongside Rise and T2 while Revenant Esports was in Group B with Hi5 and TeamMYS. Group A matches were up first, and later the Group B matches were played out. Here are how the matches went.
Match 1: Marcos Gaming were up against Rise in the first match. Both teams began a good dominating play. Rise enjoyed the lead as they had good domination with their UNITEs on. Rise made it a 600-398 win. The second game was totally one-sided as Rise had most of the knockouts while Marcos Gaming failed to produce something. Rise won by 399-99.
Match 2: Marcos Gaming fought against T2, and was unable to take control of the game even by using their UNITEs. The first game ended with a score of 255-988 which was a huge difference while the second game, ended with a 192-632 loss.
Match 1: Team MYS had total control of the game as Revenant failed in its attempt. The game ended with a score of 1197-79 which was devastating for Revenant Esports. Again, in game 2, it was domination and as a result, Revenant Esports lost by 862-113.
Match 2: Revenant’s second encounter was against Hi5 and, the results were not what they wanted. The first game ended with 728-392. In the Second game, we got to see a lead but Hi5 made it 839-291 at the end and secured the win.
Following the results, both the Indian teams are now out. However, this is not how things are ending. Marcos Gaming and Revenant Esports both produced a promising display and will bounce back even stronger for the upcoming events.
