PUBG Mobile’s much-awaited ‘winter update’ is here with all-new Icemire Frontier themed mode. The Iceage theme has introduced many special areas to BR mode. At the same time, the version 3.5 patch has also added new content to WOW, Metro Royale, and Home. What’s New With PUBG Mobile 3.5 Update?
New Themed Mode – Icemire Frontier
Icemire Frontier has replaced Bloodmoon Awakening with the PUBG Mobile 3.5 update. Featuring an Ice Age theme, the v3.5 mode brings special areas like Frostheim, Magic Crystal Mines, and Dragon’s Lair, with each one of them featuring multiple new supplies for the players. In addition to the themed areas, players will face Frostborne Dragon as the new boss at Dragon’s Lair in Icemire Frontier.
There are some themed items in the form of weapons and vehicles that players will witness in Icemire Frontier. The themed mode features all-new M79 Smoke Grenade Launcher, which will provide strategic advantage on the battleground. Similarly, the four-seater Mammoth and two-seater Sabertooth Tiger are two new vehicles in PUBG Mobile. Mammoth is more powerful, while Sabertooth Tiger is quicker.
The new themed mode has arrived with the PUBG Mobile 3.5 update launch and will remain available until January 7, 2025 11:59 (UTC + 0). Icemire Frontier is available across Erangel, Livik, and Vikendi (ranked and unranked). For the uninitiated, the mode will also feature special powerups, items, gameplay mechanics and more like Magic Crystal Crates, Ice Crystal Crates, Beast-Taming Grounds, and more across different themed areas.

World of Wonder (WOW) Gameplay Updates
There are plenty of gameplay additions and updates that have arrived with PUBG Mobile version 3.5. Rookie Trial is a new feature for the players trying out WOW for the first time, while there other optimizations as well. PUBG Mobile 3.5 update has also brought the following new gameplay features:
- Breakable Interactization: After the v3.5 update, some objects and buildings in Erangel are now breakable.
- Devs have introduced a new 1v1 & PvP map with Breakable Walls
- Breakable Town (New Map) – MP Arena mode with breakable walls, buildings, and other structures.
- Dorm Sniper Battle – Breakable Buildings (New Map) – MP Arena mode where players can snipe each other down between dormitory buildings.

Home Updates
New Butler and Home Shop improvements have been added with PUBG Mobile 3.5 update. Besides the updates, the new version has also brought new Home Events – Home Competitions featuring the ‘Home Furniture Merging’ gameplay. Starting on November 12, Home Competitions’ submission period will last until November 29. Following the conclusion to submissions, Selection Period will conclude on December 30.
Metro Royale Updates
Metro Royale mode has also received updates based on the Icemire Frontier theme. The new updates include the addition of Sabertooth Tiger and Winter Crates to POIs like Misty Port and Arctic Base. The new season has brought additional rewards and collectibles alongside some combat improvements.
Classic Map Updates
Vehicle Repair Station on themed and classic Erangel has also received new iterations that will remain available between November 22, 2024 and January 7, 2025. The Repair Stations will replace Gas Stations for a limited time. It will allow players to refill their vehicles’ HP, fuel and restore tires.
Apart from the abovementioned updates, Cycle 7 Season 21 is also beginning soon, while Royale Pass A10 will release within a week of PUBG Mobile 3.5 update’s release.
