In a surprise announcement on Thursday, March 7, 2024, KRAFTON and Level Infinite announced the PUBG Mobile and Spy x Family crossover event. In the recent social media posts via PUBG Mobile‘s official handles, the developers teased the arrival of the anime-themed content as they wrote:
“Attention! Immerse yourself in Spy x Family themed content, and prepare to embark on an exhilarating adventure. Stay tuned as the journey unfolds before your very eyes in #PUBGMOBILE! Are you prepared to accept the challenge?”
Interestingly, this is not the first time PUBG Mobile has collaborated with a popular manga or anime. In 2022, fans witnessed the Black Lagoon, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover events. At the same time, PUBG Mobile collaborated with Dragon Ball Super in 2023.

Although developers have yet to reveal a specific release window for the PUBG Mobile Spy x Family crossover, readers can expect another official announcement soon.
PUBG Mobile Spy x Family Crossover Event Content Might Feature Character Cosmetics
The PUBG Mobile Spy x Family crossover event will bring plenty of themed content, which might include various special edition collectibles. Judging by the rewards featured in past anime-based collaborations, players can also expect the addition of cosmetics based on Spy x Family characters. For the uninitiated, Black Lagoon, Jujutsu Kaisen, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Dragon Ball Super crossover events featured exclusive skins.
Players must remember that, like previous crossover events, the Spy x Family collaboration might also require players to spend UC (Unknown Cash) to purchase cosmetics and accessories.
