On November 20, 2024, the first cour of Re:Zero anime season 3 came to an end with its 8th episode. Right after, the official X account of the show revealed a new visual to remind everyone that they will have to wait for more than two months for the next episode. According to the announcement, the series will begin its next arc at the beginning of 2025.

Till now, Re:Zero season 3 was following the Attack Arc as we saw the Witch’s Cult cause massive damage in the city of Priestella. Not only that, the Archbishop of Greed Regulus Corneas has captured Emilia and wants to make her his wife. In the latest episode, Subaru and his allies came up with a plan to defeat the Witch’s Cult and the Sin Archbishops. Garfiel and Wilhelm are assigned to the First District to fight the Lust Archbishop Capella. Reinhard and Subaru made it to Regulus’s castle just as his wedding to Emilia had begun
Fans are really eager to find out what happens next and how the protagonist will take out the Sin Archbishop. Unfortunately, Re:Zero season 3 episode 9 is set to come out on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. The latest key visual highlights characters such as Subaru, Emilia, Reinhard, Regulus, Priscilla, Capella, Sirius, and many more. From the looks of it, the cour will be filled to the brim with action as Subaru’s allies all take on the various Archbishops of Sin. The second part will cover the Counterattack Arc and will have a total of 8 episodes coming out weekly.
The next episode will likely begin with Subaru and Reinhard launching an attack against Regulus and hopefully saving Emilia from his grasp. On the other hand, Wilhelm asked to fight against Capella, so he and Garfiel were sent to the First District. People are eager to learn whether the two will be able to defeat her and help Crusch. Finally, Julius and Ricardo will have to take on the Archbishops of Gluttony. Whether or not Liliana’s singing will be able to save the citizens from the clutches of the Archbishop of Wrath remains to be seen.
