Re:ZERO Season 3 Episode 6 Recap
The 184th wife of Regulus the Archbishop of Greed tells Emilia about the condition of the city of Priestells. She reveals that many Sin Archbishops are threatening the city right now and Emilia’s marriage to Regulus is very important for its future. The scene moves to Subaru, who is woken up by Priscilla. Subaru’s leg looks really bad under the bandage and Priscilla cuts it open. When the wound instantly heals, she realizes that Capella, the Archbishop of Lust, has poured her Dragon Blood on it. She tells Subaru about the new demands Capella has announced, and one of them is that Emilia gets married to her.
Subaru is extremely angry to learn this and promises to take the Witch Cult down. When some Demi Beasts attack them, Priscilla easily kills them all. Along with Priscilla and Liliana, Subaru visits an underground shelter where everyone starts arguing with each other due to the Authority of Wrath. But Liliana’s song breaks them out of the trance. While helping more shelters, Subaru meets Julius, who takes him to their new headquarters. The protagonist learns about Capella using Dragon Blood on Crusch, which has caused her extreme pain. He then discusses the Archbishop of Lust’s demands with Anastasia and Julius.
Subaru has a plan on how to beat the Sin Archbishops without endangering the citizens but doesn’t understand the gravity of their peril. We also see Emilia, who learns about all the wives of the Archbishop of Greed before their wedding. She uses her ice powers to escape from the tower and overhears Regulus’ conversation with the other Archbishops, Emilia learns about their plans for the city. After Regulus leaves the room, she sneaks inside to use his communication device, which turns on and connects her to Al.

From how the latest issue ended, we can expect Emilia to ask Al to help her connect with Subaru. If she manages to escape, she can head towards where Subaru is to tell him the location of the Archbishop of Lust. On the other hand, Subaru will try to fulfill his promise of getting Rem’s memories back from Gluttony and save Emilia from Greed. However, his goals will be almost impossible to achieve and some people might even die in the process. After finding out that Emilia has escaped, Greed might try to battle the other Archbishops residing in the city.
