Based on the current meta, all of the characters are divided into four different tiers. Those are:
- S-Tier: These are Risk of Rain 2’s most powerful characters. They are incredibly strong and can easily survive the majority of circumstances. They can deal out a lot of damage and are also very tough to kill.
- A-Tier: The A-list characters are also quite great. They take the same routes as the S-tier players, are capable of being good in a variety of circumstances, and can easily complete runs.
