Sakamoto Days Chapter 183 Recap
While taking a shower at the prison, Shin vows to get revenge on Shackles for how he beat him up in front of everyone. But Boiled informs him that it won’t be so easy because the head guard used to be a part of the JAA Special Detachment Unit. He was also one of the most skilled assassins and very close to becoming a part of the Order. If Shin can’t defeat Boiled and Shackles, he has no chance of surviving the deeper levels of the JAA Prison.
The scene moves to the fortune teller Atari, who changes a guard’s future by burning his palm line. When another guard asks why she looks so glum, Atari answers that she saw the vision of an awful future where three people will die inside the prison. The next panel shows Boiled, Heisuke, and Shin shivering in a place filled with ice. Due to their previous behavior, Shackles forces them to work in minus 30-degree temperatures without proper gear. Unable to withstand the immense cold, Heisuke soon collapses, but Shackles refuses to let him out.
Shin tears open his own clothes and wraps Heisuke in them so he won’t get frostbite. Angered, Shackles punches him in the face and then handcuffs him to a wall. Shin decides to use his mind control power and yells “Stop” at everyone working there. Unable to move because of his order, everyone falls down and soon the entire facility collapses. Shin then yells “Die”, causing a huge box to fall on top of Shackles and crush him.

It seems that Shin is finally getting the hang of his special powers and can use them against strong opponents now. He will likely be able to finish off Jo Shackles in the next issue and be moved to a deeper level in the prison. Readers are excited to see what new enemies Shin and Heisuke face next. He will also soon meet the fortune teller Atari, who is kept at the lowest level of the JAA jail. Fans might also get a look at Taro Sakamoto who promised to get stronger by fighting against various Order members.
