Sakamoto Days Chapter 188 Recap
While Shin and Heisuke are at the JAA prison, Sakamoto is fighting Torres to improve his odds against the X members. However, due to not working as an assassin for some time, he lost all five brawls. Sakamoto asks how he can win against Torres. The older assassin tells him that he doesn’t fear for his life while fighting Sakamoto, and that’s due to him using everything around them as weapons and not mastering a single technique. Bored with his lecture, Sakamoto tries to leave, but Torres follows him to the road.
While arguing about killing the two are stopped by Sakamoto’s wife Aoi, who invites Torres over for dinner. While in their house, the assassin notices how Aoi handles multiple different tasks in the kitchen simultaneously without breaking a sweat. Sakamoto’s daughter Hana makes a paper airplane which is surprisingly sturdy and sharp. After dinner, even Sakamoto washes the dishes at the speed of lightning. Seeing this, Torres asks him where he learned that skill and why he didn’t use it while fighting. Sakamoto, however, doesn’t understand what he’s talking about.
Shin and Heisuke execute a perfect plan to make Tenkyu believe Shin is the JAA fortune teller. The mind-reader then tells him to stop killing since it’s the only way to be friends with Kei again. Tenkyu tells them that Kei stopped being friends with him after he suggested murdering Aoi and Hana to get to Taro Sakamoto. Hearing this, Shin is blinded by anger and punches Tenkyu to the ground. When Heisuke asks what he’s doing, Shin says he doesn’t care about his promise to Sakamoto. He needs to kill Tenkyu so he doesn’t ever harm their family.
What To Expect From Sakamoto Days Chapter 189
Shin and Tenkyu will have an all-out battle in the next manga issue. Although he has become more adept at controlling his ESP, Shin will struggle against the deadly archer as he has trained all his life to become a killer. On the other hand, Sakamoto will start training with Torres and use his incredibly fast skills during their fights. More importantly, fans are hoping Shin finally gets to meet Atari, the real JAA Fortune Teller, who is also at level B2.
