The 4th episode of the anime begins with Ryuji realizing his romantic feelings for his childhood friend Makoto. Saki and Makoto return to the Founding Party. On the next day, Makoto returns to school in his feminine clothing. However, the girl who went to the dance with him says she likes him in girly clothes. Ryuji makes a move on his crush because he is jealous of Makoto and Saki’s closeness.
Ryuji and Saki talk about Makoto’s growing popularity and the three of them meet up for an outing during school break. They visit the aquarium but have to leave suddenly when some people from Makoto’s neighborhood appear. Ryuji grabs his friend’s hand while running away, embarrassing the latter even more.
