Deadlock is a favorite Sentinel among the Valorant community because of her effectiveness on every Map. Her skillset not only allows her to block enemy movements in chokepoints but she can also strategically trap and stun them. Moreover, her skill charges do not require significant Credits so players can easily save money for weapons and armor.

Valorant Deadlock: Every Ability Of The Sentinel Agent
As a Sentinel Agent, Deadlock is most useful while Defending. Her play revolves around restricting enemy movement either by concussion blasts or barriers. Listed below is each Deadlock ability in Valorant:-
Sonic Sensor (Q-Ability)
Sonic Sensor is similar to Cypher’s tripwires. When the skill is activated, Deadlock holds a sensor monitor that can stick to walls. Any noise made within the surrounding area, whether by footsteps or weapons, triggers the Sonic Sensor and it unleashes a concussion blast. Enemies are concussed for 3.5 seconds.
- Cost – 200 Credits
- Can be redeployed if not triggered by enemy
- Pickup distance – 27 meters
Gravnet (C-Ability)
Deadlock’s Gravnet explodes upon impact and traps enemies in a net that forces them to crouch. It also reduces their movement speed by up to 70%. Once a player is trapped in the net, they have to hold the ‘F’ key to remove it and walk normally. Rarely does Deadlock give them any chance for them to escape.
- Cost – 200 Credits
- Maximum Charges – 2
Barrier Mesh (E-Ability)
Deadlock’s signature ability allows her to throw a disc that explodes into five modules (one in center) that block enemy movement. The mesh is triggered upon impact with the ground. Although it can only be used twice in the game, the Barrier Mesh comes for free and is extremely to close down important areas of the map and put the attacking team into a deadlock.
To bypass it, enemies need to destroy the orbs that have created the barriers. Destroying the central orb requires more damage. Players who try to destroy the Barrier end up revealing their positions and short on ammo, giving Deadlock and her team an advantage.
- Cost – Free
- Cooldown – 30 seconds
- Length – 10 meters
Annihilation (X-Ability)
Deadlock is a master when it comes to Clutches. A major reason is her overpowered Ultimate, Annihilation, which fires a pulse of nanowires that wrap the enemy in a cocoon. Trapped enemies can only helplessly watch as a 7-second cooldown runs on their screen before they are eliminated. They can be saved from the cocoon by an ally but Deadlock rarely gives them an opportunity.
Annihilation is most useful during 1v1s, provided the player successfully targets the enemy with the blast. If it misses, you will lose the Ultimate, so make the most of Sentinel Deadlock abilities in Valorant.
- Cost – 7 Ult Points
- Cocoon HP – 600
Deadlock is not a starter character, meaning that players will need to unlock her by using in-game currency known as Kingdom Credits. Each Agent unlock costs 8000 Kingdom Credits.
