The official X account of the Shonen Jump App announced in a post that the new Spt X Family chapter 108 release date is December 23, 2024, for Japan. This means in most other countries, the issue will come out on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Fans are shocked to learn this new information as there was no prior notice that confirmed it. The Viz Media website, which releases the English version of the manga in many countries including the USA, confirms that the next issue will come out at the end of December.
Chapter 107 of the popular manga came out on Sunday, October 27, 2024. It was announced that the biweekly series will be taking a one-month break and be back on November 24. A few days ago, the manga was delayed for two weeks till December 8, 2024. But now fans will have to wait for another month for a new chapter. Although the publication house didn’t reveal the cause of this break, it could be because of the mangaka’s poor health. Recently, many popular manga series including One Piece, and Dandadan have also gone on sudden breaks. If the author Tatsuya Endo has suddenly fallen sick, it would explain why the next installment is being delayed.
The mangaka might also be taking some time to do more research before continuing his series.
