The need for a last-minute change
Initially, SSSami faced some issues with visa, which was later sorted out. However, the player had to opt out of the tournament because of his college exam, thus opening the gateway for Wink to participate in the tournament. Wink had previously played for regional teams such as Griffin Esports, Habibi, ENDLESS Esports, and Madness Esports. He had a good connection with the team players of Aster Army, which made it easier for team Aster Army to make a last-minute adjustment by signing him for the tournament.
The final list of players of Aster Army for the VCL 2023: South Asia is:
- Soumyadeep “DOXZ3R” Dey
- Pranav “Kohliii” Kohli
- Hrishikesh “Dominik” Khedkar
- Ngo “Kishi” Huy
