Shift Up Corporation has revealed the release date and content of the Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata crossover. The first DLC for Stellar Blade will include numerous outfits and items from the NieR franchise, allowing Eve to transform into characters like 2B and A2. Players will also receive free updates that enable them to access the Photo Mode or equip the Symbol of Legacy earring on Eve.
When Will Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata DLC Be Released?
Stellar Blade’s NieR: Automata DLC will be released on November 20 this year, according to a PlayStation Blog by DongKi Lee. The Technical Director of Stellar Blade not only revealed the content that will be released as a part of the crossover but also the new outfits in the upcoming patches.
The Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata collaboration was announced in the PS State of Play in September. It is a paid DLC for all platforms. A slew of outfits would be available for Eve, including that of NieR: Automata protagonists 2B and A2. The upcoming Photo Mode will allow players to capture memorable moments after making characters pose and react in a certain way.
All New Oufits and Features In Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata
Emil, the NPC Merchant in NieR: Automata, will be crossing over to Stellar Blade to provide a variety of different items. 11 collaboration items would be available in Emil’s Shop. The exact location of the NPC or the means to get the special items wasn’t revealed, though.
While the special items in Emil’s Shop weren’t disclosed, Shift Up did show the new outfits for the Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata crossover. The list includes a 2B outfit, A2 outfit, YoRHa Uniform 1, Fox Mask, and 2B Sailor Suit. Eve may morph into the NieR: Automata character after equipping the outfits. The trailer also hinted at a new skin for Eve’s drone that resembles 2B’s Pod 042 companion.
Meanwhile, the upcoming free Stellar Blade update will introduce a Photo Mode. The features of the new mode were revealed in the announcement trailer for Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata, showing how players can choose the characters’ poses, expressions, and filters, and customize other settings in the frame.
November has been a huge month for Stellar Blade. Apart from a collaboration with the renowned NieR franchise, the action RPG is one of the over 50 titles available in PlayStation 5 Pro.
What Are The New Features In The Upcoming Stellar Blade Patches?
The next patch updates in Stellar Blade will add more customizations and outfits. A forthcoming “Symbol of Legacy” earring can be equipped to change the appearance and presentation of Eve’s Tachy Mode. Additionally, players would be able to select a ‘No Ponytail’ option from the Ponytail Length feature.
Aside from the Stellar Blade x NieR: Automata collab, Shift Up is gearing up to add four new costumes in the next patches. The outfits are of different colors and appearance. There are also some other improvements in store for the action RPG as per the official news, including lip-sync support for six additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish), and improved auto-targeting and ballistics correction features during enemy insta-kill skills.
