Suicide Squad Isekai Episode 8 Recap
The previous episode starts with the empire’s council arguing about the Suicide Squad. One group thinks of them as heroes while others think they are criminals who only stir up problems. The argument comes to a halt when Queen Aldora intervenes and asks Theodore to do something. When the gang reaches the castle, everyone looks down on them. Harley starts a verbal fight, calling them bullies. This causes Theodore to slap Harley. An angered Nanaue (King Shark) kills and eats Theodore. Adora orders King Shark to be executed while the rest of the group is kicked out. When Fione tries to apologize to them, Harley tells her off for not speaking up.
The suicide squad goes to a bar to get drunk and start a brawl. They all go to the gate and try to reset their timers so they can save King Shark. Rick tells Amanda Weller about what happened and she deems the project to be a failure. She detonates the bomb in Clayface’s body. This action causes Rick to berate her. When they see that the castle has caught on fire, Weller gives them another 24 hours for them to clean up the mess. The group runs towards the castle and finds Clayface, who survived the bomb. The episode then shows us Fione, who goes to Adora’s room. However, she discovers that someone is impersonating her mother as the Queen’s reflection in the mirror looks like a monster.
