A year after announcing the anime series, Warner Bros. Japan has officially revealed the Suicide Squad Isekai release date. The series featuring popular characters from Detective Comics (DC) such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, and The Joker, will premiere on streaming platforms in selected regions, including America and South-East Asia (SEA).

Suicide Squad Isekai Release Date & Official Streaming Platforms
The latest post by Warner Bros. Japan on X (formerly X) gave more footage of the upcoming anime. Moreover, the caption revealed the Suicide Squad Isekai release date to be June 27, 2024. It is one of the most important projects for WB Japan as they have collaborated with WIT Studio to produce the animation, the studio behind popular animes like Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga.
Isekai is a popular genre in both the animation and television industry. It features the main character and a few supporting characters being transported to a new world. They have to adjust to the new surroundings, which is usually a fantasy world filled with dangerous creatures. Popular Isekai animes of all time include Overlord, KonoSuba, and The Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.
In Suicide Squad Isekai, Amanda Waller forces the squad of DC supervillains to partake in the mission of defusing bombs in a fantasy world. The world is full of monstrous creatures which means Harley and her crew have a tough job on their hands. Completing the mission means the Suicide Squad will earn their freedom.

The trailers for Suicide Squad Isekai featured King Shark, Deadshot, and Clayface, among other notable characters. Nonetheless, the majority of the screen time will be shared by the main characters, Harley and Joker, as they rampage in the isekai world of Gotham which has dragons and mutants.
