T1 defeated GE in an exciting gameplay
One of the most anticipated first-day matches of the VCT Pacific League that began on the 25th of March was between T1 Esports and Global Esports. The entire Indian Valorant community were excited and thrilled to witness the only Indian team play its way through the global competition. However, after GE announced that SkRossi and Lightingfast will not be able to play the first match, fans were concerned about the team’s status. Even though the team provided a tough fight, T1 esports defeated GE with a 2-1 scoreline. Let’s take a detailed look at the match between T1 and GE.

Match Statistics
Game 1- Pearl Map
The first game began in Pearl Map, one of the strong footholds of T1 Esports. The team dominated since the beginning of the match, keeping a score line of 7-0, not letting GE score. However, Global esports made a comeback and provided their best fight to counter T1 Esports. T1 won the map with a 13-8 win, conquering their way to victory. T1’s Munchkin got the MVP, with a 23/12 KD. On the other hand, Global Esports’ Bazzi secured the MVP with a KD of about 16/18.
Game 2- Haven Map
As luck would have it, Global Esports had full domination on the second map of the game. According to some, it was a “Haven-ly” comeback for the team, winning with a scoreline of 13-4. The MVP for Global Esports was t3xture, with a KD of 21/12, whereas, xeta got the MVP for T1 Esports, having a 15/11 KD. The sheer dominance of Global Esports in the Haven map created a lot of hype among the players, as well as, the fans and audiences spectating the nail-biting gameplay.
Game 3- Lotus Map
The decider map of the VCT Pacific League opening day match between T1 Esports and Global Esports was the Lotus map. Even though it was a neck-to-neck battle between the two teams, T1 emerged victorious, with a scoreline of 13-7. The initial stages of the map were extremely engaging, making it difficult for both audiences and commentators to decide on the winning team. However, xeta scored 21 kills for T1 esports, leading them to victory in the decider map. On the other hand, Global esports fought hard, with WRONSKI providing his team with 14 kills.
Conclusion
After a nail-biting match between Global Esports and T1 Esports, T1 emerged to be the victorious team. Even though the first match of GE did not pan out in their favour, they have a number of fixtures left in the future to have a comeback in the VCT Pacific League. Furthermore, the next matches will have SkRossi and Lightingfast in the roster panel, allowing the team to provide their best efforts. Apart from this, another match concluded on the first day of the VCT Pacific league, between DRX and ZETA. DRX emerged as the victorious team with a scoreline of 2-0.
