Skyesports League 2023 starts on 24th April
One of the major tournaments in India, the Skyesports League 2023 is back with a bang! As per the announcement, the league will host the Pokemon Unite tournament, which is a city-based league. Pokemon Unite is one of the growing industries providing players with a strong platform to showcase their gameplay. One of the most viewed sports in India is cricket, which mainly grew its viewership due to the unique city-based format of the IPL tournament.
The CEO of Skyesports, Shiva Nandy, strives to bring esports to each and every household in India, therefore conducting such an interesting IPL-style tournament, with a whopping prize pool of Rs 10,00,000. The League stage of the tournament will start from the 24th of April till the 7th of May. Soon after the league stage, the playoffs will take place between the 8th to 10th of May.

The first team revealed by Skyesports to participate in the Skyesports League 2023 Pokemon Unite tournament was S8UL Esports. The esports organisation has a massive fan following, as they showcase their unique skills and effective gameplay strategies. Some of the games that the organisation participates in apart from Pokemon Unite include PUBG NEW STATE Mobile and BGMI. The recent announcement by Skyesports revealed that S8UL Esports will represent Mumbai Aces in the upcoming league.
Revenant Esports
Revenant Esports is the second team that was revealed for the Skyesports League 2023. They are a growing organisation, with numerous developments in their workings and gameplay. Even though the official roster for the tournament is yet to be finalised, Revenant Esports is representing Chennai Clutchers in Skyesports League 2023.
GodLike Esports
GodLike Esports was the third team that was revealed by Skyesports for their participation in the Skyesports League 2023. GodLike Esports has a separate lineup for Pokemon Unite, however, there has been no official announcement of the roster for Skyesports League 2023. The team will represent Pune Pros in the tournament.
Gods Reign
The latest announcement of Skyesports for their Skyesports League 2023 tournament was Gods Reign. The esports team has showcased immense talent in numerous games, the recent one being Valorant. For the league, Gods Reign will be playing for Bengaluru Crushers.
Marcos Gaming
Another fan-favourite team that will represent Hyderabad Nawabs in the city-based Skyesports league tournament will be Marcos Gaming. With their efficient and strategic gameplay, the team will improve and provide their best in the tournament.
7Sea Esports
7Sea Esports was rumoured to be a part of the Skyesports League for a long time. Well, it is now confirmed that the team will be representing Delhi Dragons for the all-new Skyesports League 2023. Fans and viewers of Pokemon Unite are excited to witness the gameplay the team has to showcase.
True Rippers
True Rippers is an efficient esports team, who have showcased immense potential in different games. In the Skyesports League 2023, the team will represent Kolkata Tridents and provide their best to bag the Champions trophy.
FS Esports
Punjab Pinnacles will be represented by FS Esports, who will be appearing in their first competitive tournament. Fans and viewers alike are expecting the team to perform and showcase their skills in the game.
Content Creators to support the teams
As per the press release of Skyesports, each team will have one content creator, who will not only support them but also bring entertainment to the viewers. This will help the team gather the reach required, allowing them to bring a maximum number of viewers. Some of the content creators that fans may witness include Saumraj, 8Bit Mercy, Mortal and Savage Girl Gaming. According to Shiva Nandy, the previous time they held such a high-scale tournament was Valorant 2021, which saw a massive increase in their viewership.
The above-mentioned team will be playing the Skyesports League 2023 Pokemon Unite tournament. The teams will provide their best in the tournament, and fight for the league title, with a prize pool of Rs 10,00,000. The prize will be split among the winners as follows:
- Champions: Rs 4,00,000
- 1st and 2nd Runners-up: Rs 2,50,000 each
- 3rd Runners-up: Rs 1,00,000
- 4th Runners-up: Rs 50,000
- 5th to 8th Runners-up: Rs 25,000 each
