TEKKEN 8 servers underwent temporary downtime across all platforms on February 7, 2024. The update is now live, as mentioned on TEKKEN’s official X/Twitter handle. Check out the post below!
Here are the full patch notes and changes for the TEKKEN 8 update 1.01.04:
- Common:
- Fixed the issue where the startup of certain moves would be delayed by 1 frame during Special Style.
- Adjustments made to pushback collision detection to prevent Balcony Break occurrences.
- Alisa:
- Corrected frame advantage display in Practice Mode to accurately show “+5F” on block instead of “+8F”.
- Devil Jin:
- Changed damage distribution and reduced forward movement for Devil 3in combo.
- Reduced attack duration and adjusted damage and chip damage to balance offensive capabilities.
- Dragunov:
- Increased recovery frames to address unintended damage output in specific combos.
- Improved character positioning and opponent transition to downed state for stability in off-axis hits.
- Adjusted block distance and chip damage to counter unintended high-damage combos.
- Jack-8:
- Fixed issue preventing backward ukemi after aerial hit.
- Jun:
- Increased recovery time and opponent’s recovery time to prevent unintended follow-up attacks.
- Adjusted reaction upon hit to prevent unintended damage output.
- Le°:
- Increased recovery time on block to ensure intended risk-reward balance.
- Reduced recovery time inflicted on opponent to maintain intended risk-reward balance.
- Leroy:
- Reduced knockback distance on block to facilitate opponent counterattacks.
- Lili:
- Extended collision detection to prevent slipping under floating opponents.
- Raven:
- Adjusted recovery frames after crouching guard to match standing block.
- Fixed issue preventing transition to Wind God Step from running state.
- Reina:
- Reduced knockback distance and removed crouching status during attack animation on block.
- Increased damage hurtbox and made it possible to defend with reversal move.
- Niot:
- Adjusted opponent block timing to balance offensive capabilities.
- Steve:
- Reduced distance to opponent upon first hit to ensure consistent combo landing.
- Yoshimitsu:
- Corrected issue with airborne state persistence during “Muto no Kiwami” transition to prevent opponents’ punish attacks.
