Updated The First Descendant Weapon Tier List
The First Descendant has four weapon classes and each is based on the ammunition that the gun consumes. There are General Rounds, Special Rounds, Impact Rounds, and High Power Rounds. Moreover, guns are classified into four categories: Normal, Rare, Ultimate, and Transcendent. The Ultimate guns are considered to be the best but some of them are overshadowed by those in the lower ranks.
Every gun in this looter shooter game tier list has been placed into one of the four tiers, based on their performance and damage. Tier 0 has the best guns whereas Tier 4 consists of weapons that one must usually avoid picking before a fight:-
- Tier-0 – These are the meta weapons in The First Descendant.
- Tier-1 – Guns in this tier have impressive performance but aren’t on par with the Tier-0 weapons.
- Tier-2 – Such weapons have good damage but also have flaws. For instance, the Lightspeed Barrel is a rocket launcher with tremendous damage but a low fire rate.
- Tier-3 – Although these weapons do pack serious damage and rate of fire, they fail to keep up with the expectations in the higher levels.
- Tier-4 – The worst picks in The First Descendant weapon tier list.

Who Are The Best Characters In The First Descendant?
Ultimate Viessa, Kyle, and Bunny are the best characters in The First Descendant but they do possess certain limitations. Bunny is a great pick for farming as she can swiftly attack enemies with her electric discharges and then move on to the next wave. However, she can’t hold her own high-level bosses.
Viessa and Kyle are ideal picks for the higher levels. Viessa can freeze tough enemies and subsequently mow them down. Her Blizzard Tech attack creates a snowstorm that deals AoE damage and puts the enemies in Ice Shackles. Meanwhile, Kyle is a damage-dealing tank character who uses magnetic forces to create barriers and push back enemies, helping players in co-op modes.
However, as customary for looter shooters, both characters need to be properly positioned in battles. Players must also be familiar with their skillsets and combo abilities.
