Know about the Patch Notes update:
As mentioned above, the PC port of The Last of Us Part 1 has received a minor update. With this, the version of the game raises from 1.0.1.0 to 1.0.1.5 resulting in enhancing stability and performance. According to the team, the patch notes are specifically released for the improvements based on user feedback. Additional crash diagnostics have been added to help gather more data and information regarding crashes related to the shader building.
Shaders impact in The Last of Us PC:
The collection of small programs on the graphics of users is known as Shaders. They are related to particular components of the image-generating process, such as how light bounces, reflects, or casts shadows from frame to frame. And here, it seems that game’s shader is one of the main causes of the problems like stuttering and poor loading time. According to the change log reports, the latest patch notes modify several files, at least one of which is related to the shaders.
Conclusion:
Overall, the game’s review score on Steam is quite negative for its bugs and issues, reflecting numerous player complaints. Stuttering frame rates and crashes have been some of the most often reported issues. For some systems that fulfil the minimum requirements, the game won’t even start for the players. But with these improvements and changes, it can be expected that the latest patch notes provide some relief to players.
