This is the real Spy x Family- this is the anime you would get if you told someone the title of Spy x Family and it lived up to their expectations. It’s another adaptation from the Weekly Shonen Jump and it has romantic and comedic elements. A guy ends up marrying his childhood friend and she turns out to be destined to lead a family of spies. And now our boy has to train to be a good spy. It’s one of the most anticipated airing anime right now.
Go Go Loser Ranger
Imagine The Boys but set in a Power Rangers universe- that’s what this is. One of the typical mob “monsters” takes on human form and infiltrates the oh-so-righteous rangers that fight for “peace” and we see what they are truly like and what’s actually happening. It’s all an act and our protagonist is going to uncover the whole plot and defeat these false heroes of justice.
Train To The End of The World
Train To The End of The World is an anime out of nowhere that came and took us for a ride. The concept, setting, and premise are as wacky as they can get, there’s absurdism and adventure at every corner, and best of all we get to follow 4 high-school girls and a dog on their adventure in an unfamiliar world just to search for a missing friend.
Jellyfish Can’t Swim In The Night
This is an anime original- which means it has no source material. But get this- it’s animated by the same studio that did Oshi No Ko. Doga Kobo’s original anime is another idol anime with a great setting, a vibrant cast of characters, and a very lovable and unique premise. The animation, characters and colors are what bring this story to life and we’re assured this will be the sleeping hit of all the airing anime right now.
Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf
Spice and Wolf remake looks gorgeous. For old fans of the original, this new remake is wonderful to see with all the new animation but the same old Holo. It’s a nostalgic experience for veterans and for those newer fans- they’ll witness a story like no other. This was the first fantasy anime that delved into issues of economy so one can definitely say it’s the most educational airing anime right now.
Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2
Mushoku Tensei or Jobless Reincarnation will continue with the second half of Season 2 and from the looks of it- we’re getting more romantic with Sylphie and Rudeus finally announcing their marriage. Romantic shenanigans aside and more solid character development for Rudy aside, we’re also expecting some action at the wee end of this season making it one of the most exciting currently airing anime right now.
That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime Season 3
The cute slime Rimuru is back this season except he’s cute no more. Our little Rimuru is now a formidable Demon Lord and we can’t wait for him and his nation to shine against his enemies. This time everyone’s excited for his rematch against Hinata- the Paladin from the Western Holy Church. One of the greatest isekai series because it has nailed the generic tropes- everyone’s got their eyes on this one as one of the best airing anime right now.
KonoSuba Season 3
It’s no wonder the greatest comedic isekai will be one of the best airing anime right now. KonoSuba Season 3 continues after the events of the last KonoSuba movie and it will have the cast get in good graces with the royalty of the kingdom they’ve been saving for a while now. It’s time their hard work is finally acknowledged and rewarded but of course, they’ll somehow end up as circumstantial heroes again. Wind Breaker
Wind Breaker had the best opening episode this season and it’s looking like what Tokyo Revengers should have looked and felt like. The action choreography is skillfully clean, the animation is smooth and the colors are vibrant. The characters have a lot of heart and the cast seems lovable and interesting to follow. Most of all we love the tsundere delinquent protagonist- Haruka Sakura. The first episode was enough to solidify it as one of the best airing anime right now.
Kaiju No. 8
Kaiju No. 8 is the hottest anime this season and it’s recently released its first episode with a bang. Weekly Shonen Jump fans have been hyping it up as the next big anime to come from the magazine and it promises to be a thrilling ride. Kafka’s journey as a Kaiju and his mission to eliminate other kaiju is something we all look forward to. Even the world of this anime seems like a mix of Attack on Titan and Parasyte the Maxim.
