The action in Jujutsu Kaisen is fueled by cursed energy, a form of energy borne of people’s negative emotions. The main character, Yuji Itadori, becomes the vessel of an evil spirit named Ryomen Sukuna but he is able to keep control of his body and powers. Like Nezuko in Demon Slayer, Yuji has to tame the demon inside him and unleash it at the right time like in JJK Chapter 262.
Just like the Demon Slayer corps, Jujutsu Kaisen consists of sorcerers trained by organizations to fight against world-threatening villains. The cinematic battle scenes and unbelievable plot twists cement it as an anime to watch like Demon Slayer. Moreover, JJK features memorable characters like Gojo Satoru and Megumi Fushiguro which will remind one of Sanemi and Gyomei.

While Tanjiro sets off to avenge the death of his family, Yuliy wants to avenge the destruction wrought on his village by vampires. The story revolves around ‘The Ark of Sirius’, a gift from God that possesses the power to control all beings.
