Iso was introduced in October 2023 as the seventh Duelist Agent in Valorant. Iso is one of those characters who can adjust to different playstyles. While Attacking, he can use his ability constructs to push the opponents back. While Defending, he can use the same to delay the Spike plant by consistently blocking the enemy’s vision or rushes. However, no man is an island in Valorant.

1. Iso & Harbor
One of the major ‘cripple’ skills of Iso is Undercut: his ability to create moving bolts of energy that apply the Vulnerable debuff to anyone in its path. However, the constructs can be seen and easily evaded by the enemies. This is where Harbor’s Cascade (C-ability) comes into play. When both projectiles are launched simultaneously, the Undercut bolt moving side-by-side with the vision-blocking Cascade, enemies will have less area to dodge and will be affected by one or the other.
2. Iso & Raze
Iso and Raze make a great team in Valorant. Both duelists are tasked with creating entry for the Attacking team. Raze uses her Paintshells (grenades) while Iso creates walls of energy that block bullets (C-ability) to drive back enemies. Moreover, they can combine their abilities to produce effective results. Iso’s Contingency ability can act as a shield for Raze’s Boom Bot which will lock on to any enemies in front.

Before the user deals with the opponent in a 1v1 contest, he first needs to seek them with the column of energy that is put on the battlefield upon the Ult-activation. As an Initiator in Valorant, Sova reveals the positions of the enemies with his Recon Bolt (E-ability) and prevents Iso’s Ultimate from going to waste. The Hunter also has the Owl Drone (C-ability) that can be used to check enemy movement/positions.
4. Iso & Fade
Iso’s ability to create vision-blocking barriers is perfect for Fade to hide her Prowler (C-ability). The Prowler can move along with the Contingency wall and strike the first enemy nearby.
