Tower of God Chapter 648 Recap
Mazino thinks that Bam has descended upon the battlefield, but Gustang recognizes him as V, his former comrade. However, he doesn’t understand how V managed to evade death. He asks how he’s in Bam’s body, but V says it’s a long story. He announces that giving Traumerei and Gustang their First Deaths is his goal now. Mazino says he doesn’t know who he is, but he’s being too rude. He then asks him to return Bam’s body, but V says his body was supposed to be like this from the beginning as he was created to avenge Arlen with him.
He then unleashes his Shinsu Control Technique: Water Dragon and is glad to see that Bam was taught V’s Shinsu powers. His attack barely reaches Traumerei, but Mazino moves him out of the way before it can do too much damage. Gustang says that he will kill Traumerei, but now V has also been added to his hit list. V wants to kill Traumerei right now since he is exhausted and will likely speak about his return to Zahard. Although he can’t take Gustang and Mazino on right now, they seem reluctant to kill Bam’s body, which is good news for him.
He releases another Shinsu attack to create a diversion and run away. Mazino chases after him and asks him to return Bam’s body. Before he can reach V, Luslec creates a spell to stop Mazino momentarily. He then greets V as his master and tells him to avoid Mazino as he is too powerful and volatile. V agrees but tells him to wait a moment as the seed he has sown will soon bloom. Right after, a large Shinsu attack emerges from Traumerei’s body. Before leaving, he tells Traumerei, who is likely dead, that he will soon send his friends to him.
