Tower of God Chapter 649 Recap
V escapes from the battle arena with the help of Lulsec, making Urek yell behind them. When Urek Mazino comes back to the ground, he sees that Gustang has intercepted V’s final attack, saving Traumerei’s life. Gustang reveals that he knows the assailant’s moves as V used to be a close comrade of his. But he doesn’t understand how he is possessing Bam’s body since V died a long time ago. Although he wants to continue the fight, he can’t because Traumerei is unconscious. Gustang asks Urek to step aside since the game has ended now.
Back at the arena, Androssi urges Khun to run as Bellerir and the others start chasing after them. Finally, they reach their target just as Gustang emerges from the ground with Traumerei. Gustang tells them to take the Po Bidau chess piece as long as they leave the Lo Po Bia chess King with him. Khun lets him have it on the condition that Traumerei will let him know any news about Bam. The chapter ends with Traumerei waking up and seeing he is sitting in front of Gustang with a chess board between them.
