Tower Of God Season 2 Episode 8 Recap
The latest installment titled, ‘My Name is Emily’, begins with introducing an AI called Emily, which has become incredibly famous among the inhabitants of the Tower. Emily is surprisingly accurate with her answers, although nobody really knows her source of information. We then learn that several years have passed since Viole’s fight with Mazino and his group is still climbing the Tower. Their latest test consists of them opening treasure chests with keys.
The narrative then moves to Khun’s group, who are also climbing the Tower. While chasing one of their enemies, Ran asks Emily for the right directions but ends up in trouble. Thankfully, they are able to find the enemy and complete their test. Khun is completely opposed to using Emily during such times and scolds his teammate. However, he later asks Emily if Bam is alive, to which the chatbot answers with a resounding yes.
During their test, Wangnan crosses paths with an opponent who is a fire user. Although he tries to escape, he is caught by the enemy. In the end, Viole saves Wangnan’s life and the opponent also runs away after realizing his potential. The group is able to retrieve the key and open the treasure box. At the end of the episode, a person screams about their love for Emily.
