Six months after Crunchyroll confirmed a second season, there is official news regarding the Tower of God Season 2 World Premiere. Anime TV Japan revealed that the beloved anime will premiere the first and second episodes during the Anime Expo in Los Angeles.

Adapted from the manhwa by Lee Jong Hui (aka S.I.U), Tower of God got an animated release a decade after the original work’s launch. The first season was launched in April 2020, premiering in South Korea, and later in Japan. Meanwhile, the upcoming second season is set to premiere in America.
Tower of God Season 2 World Premiere Will Provide Exclusive Look Of Episodes 1 & 2
The World Premiere of Tower of God Season 2, giving exclusive footage of the first and second episodes of the season, will be revealed at Anime Expo 2024. The annual event that is held in the first week of July will emanate from the Diamond Ballroom in JW Marriott, Los Angeles, on July 6. One of the biggest ballrooms in the region, there will be a grand reception for the second season of Tower of God.
Season 2 premiere of Tower of God will begin at 5:45 P.M. Pacific Time. While fans will witness the animation of the first few episodes, the premiere could also reveal the global release date for the anime on Crunchyroll. Fans are eager for the news since the conclusion of the first season in June 2020.
Telecom Animation Film was responsible for the Tower of God Season 1 anime. Led by Chief Director Kazuyoshi Takeuchi, The Answer Studio has taken over the responsibility for Season 2. It is the studio behind notable animation series and films like Flag, Road To You, City Hunter Movie, and Cross Road.
As revealed by Crunchyroll in the Announcement trailer, Tower of God Season 2 will adapt the “The Return of the Prince” and the “Workshop Battle” arcs. The upcoming season will feature events following a 6-year time skip and give more information on the ending of Season 1 which showcased Bam being betrayed by his best friend, Rachel.

Apart from the Tower of God Season 2 World premiere, the Anime Expo 2024 will also contain fan panels for popular animes. Most notable will be the Jujutsu Kaisen panel whose manga is set for a hiatus. The panel will feature the Director of Season 2, Shota Goshozono, and Lead Producer in MAPPA, Keisuke Seshimo, and Junya Enoki, the Japanese voice behind Yuji Itadori.
