Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi Chapter 20 Recap
The new demon calls upon Kiyoshi’s name. In a flashback, we see Nehan being shocked to learn that the sigil being used to summon the demon is legit. However, Kiyoshi has never seen this particular formation before. Oko says that now it’s time to begin the ritual that has been actualized by over 100 true believers. She then starts calling the demon and just as she is about to offer up their soul, Kiyoshi uses his power to get them away from the sigil. Something akin to lightning strikes the ground and a demon descends on the pentagram.
We learn that this is the Great Demon Lord Asuta Roth and he looks very human. Kiyoshi asks Nehan and Jack Joe to take the three unconscious students away from the roof. After they leave, he turns to the demon and realizes he’s stronger than anybody he’s fought before. If he doesn’t stop him, he will destroy the city. Exorcizing him will also likely bring back the souls that were sacrificed. Kiyoshi unleashes a barrage of attacks, but Asuta Roth counters them all. In the end, the demon says he’s glad he came to earth since fighting with Kiyoshi is fun.
What To Expect From Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi Chapter 21
The battle between Asuta Roth and Kiyoshi will continue in the next issue of the series. Kiyoshi will try to gain the upper hand and make sure the demon doesn’t hurt the citizens. Yuda, the person who manipulated over 100 people into summoning a demon, was subdued by Tenma Sakaki in the previous issue. Sakaki will likely also head over to the school building where the fight is happening. With his help, the protagonist might be able to defeat Roth.
