Roster Revamps and New Teams Heat Up the Winter Split of LEC 2023
Ten teams are vying for eight slots in the group stage of the Winter Split of the 2023 League of Legends European Championship (LEC). Fans are anticipating the new three-split format of the tournament with match days on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays with the addition of two new teams, Heretics and KOI. The Winter Split champion will earn a seat in the LEC Finals and 120 points towards Worlds 2023 qualification.

The Battle for the Crown Begins
Over the course of a three-week period, the 10 teams will face off against one another in a single round-robin stage. Stage 2, a double-elimination group stage with two groups of four teams, will be entered by the top eight teams. The stage 2 champions and runners-up advance to the playoffs, which also include a double-elimination format.

The Rise of the New: LEC Winter 2023 Teams & Players
For the Winter 2023 season, the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) is back and better than ever.
