The upcoming patch is also introducing a brand-new map, which will be unveiled at VCT (VALORANT Champions Tour) Masters Shanghai. When Will VALORANT Abyss Map Be Officially Revealed?
As mentioned, the new VALORANT Abyss map is all set to be officially unveiled at the ongoing VCT Masters Shanghai. According to Riot Games, the new map will be unveiled during the ‘Team CN vs Team INTL’ showmatch on June 9, 2024 at 12:00 am PT/07:00 am UTC/03:00 pm CST.
The newest map will have its first-ever VALORANT game where Team CN and INTL will face one another. One can catch the event live via VALORANT Esports’ official website. Alternatively, fans can also tune into the livestream on VALORANT Champions Tour (YouTube) and VALORANT (Twitch) channels.
VALORANT Abyss Map – Release Date & New Map Rotation
The new map will arrive via the upcoming VALORANT patch 8.11 on June 11 or 12 (based on the region) as a part of the new in-game map rotation. Riot Games is reportedly bringing back Haven to the map pool with the new VALORANT Abyss map, while Breeze and Split are likely to be rotated out for the remainder of Episode 8 Act III.

Apart from the name, nothing much about the upcoming map has been leaked. Previously, a player card, which was released during Episode 8 Act II, hinted at an underground-setting of the ‘8.11’ map, which is also partially confirmed by the name ‘Abyss.’
A similar Hell-like has also been teased with two teaser posters, which were recently unveiled by Riot Games.
