VALORANT Challengers South Asia Split 1 Open Qualifier New Bracket
Valorant Challengers South Asia Split 1 open qualifier has reached the concluding stages. The tournament by Riot Games and Nodwin Gaming is currently conducting Open qualifiers where a total of 137 teams played. The matches were the best of 2 game series, which commenced on the 26th of February and will continue till the 1st of March. Out of the 137 teams, the top 16 got drawn, and from there, the top 8 made it to the new bracket, which is taking place now. The winner of this team will move to the Valorant Challengers League South Asia. With the tournament set to start in March, it carries a prize pool of $140,000, as revealed on 14th February.
The Open Qualifier actions
A total of 137 teams began their Open qualifier campaign. A total of 16 teams made it to the Round of 16. A total of 8 matches were played in Round 1. · Map 1 – Ascent was the map where the first-half score remained 2-10. After a 0-3 finish in the second half, MLT Esports won the game.
· Map 2 – Pearl map was the game. It was dominated by MLT Esports as the first half remained 1-11 and later 0-2 second half led them to a victory by 1-13.
Match 3: OR5 vs 2ez Gaming
· Map 1 – It was on the Pearl map. The first-half score remained 6-6, but a 5-7 in the second half led 2ez Gaming to a win by 11-13.
· Map 2 – The game was on the Ascent map. The first-half score remained 9-3, and later, a 4-0 finish in the second half led OR5 to win by 13-3.
· Map 3 – Lotus was the map, First half remained 6-6, and later a 7-1 finish in the second half led to a win by 13-7.

· Map 1 – Goblin Attackers won the game after winning it by 13-2 with a first-half score of 10-2 and a second-half by 3-0.
· Map 2 – On the Ascent map, Goblin Attackers won the game with a 13-6.
Match 5: VENGEANCE vs UnderDogs
· Map 1 – It was on the Icebox map, and VENGEANCE won the game by 14-12.
· Map 2 – The game was played on the Ascent map. And UnderDogs claimed the game by 6-13.
· Map 3 – Haven was the map for the decider game, and VENGEANCE won the game by 14-12.
Match 6: Team Echelon vs TOP Esports
· Map 1 – It was on the Haven map. TOP Esports won by 5-13.
· Map 2 – The game was played on the Ascent map, and TOP Esports won by 1-13.
Match 7: DEIMOS FORCE vs Fun Squad
· Map 1 – It was on the Ascent map. Fun Squad won by 6-13.
· Map 2 – The game was played on the Haven map, and Fun Squad won by 6-13.
Match 8: Balak Paneer vs Anaadi Army
· Map 1 – The game began on the Fracture map. Anaadi Army won by 14-16.
· Map 2 – The game was on the Haven map, and Anaadi Army won by 11-13.
