After the culmination of Stage 2 of all international leagues, it’s time for the biggest VALORANT esports event of the year, i.e., Champions 2024. The premier VALORANT event will kick off with the start of August 2024 and go on for almost four weeks. Top 16 across all VCT international leagues – Americas, CN, EMEA, and Pacific – are going to compete at the event for the US$1,000,000 prize money (first place) and the prestigious trophy.

VALORANT Champions 2024 Format, Schedule, & Teams
The 16 participants have been drawn into four groups, which will follow the double-elimination format, i.e., the first team to lose two series will get eliminated. Following the Group Stage, the qualifying teams will once again be drawn into double-elimination brackets during the Playoffs. Ultimately, the best two teams of the tournament will face each other in the VALORANT Champions 2024 Grand Final.
All matches played at VALORANT Champions 2024, except the Grand & Lower Bracket Finals, will be best-of-three series. The Grand and Lower Bracket Finals will be BO5 series and the first team to win three maps will be declared victorious. The Group Stage will commence on August 1, 2024, while the playoffs will start from 14th. The Grand Final event is scheduled to happen on August 25.

VALORANT Champions 2024 Venue & Streaming Details
Earlier this year, Riot Games announced Seoul as the host city for VALORANT Champions 2024 and confirmed the venues in June. The tournament will kick off with Group Stages matches at COEX Shinhan Card Artium, whereas INSPIRE Arena will host the final leg of the event from August 23 to 25. At COEX Shinhan Card Artium, the show will commence around 5:00 pm KST (GMT + 9:00). At the same time, the show at INSPIRE Arena will start around 04:00 pm KST (GMT +9:00).
The livestream of VALORANT Champions 2024 will broadcast via multiple VCT/VALORANT Esports channels across different streaming platforms. The English feed will go live via ALORANT Esports / VALORANT Champions Tour channels on Twitch and YouTube.
