The premier event of VALORANT esports, Champions 2024, commenced on August 1 with top 16 teams across four VCT International Leagues fighting it out for the prestigious trophy. The competition began with the Group Stage, where the teams were drawn into four groups. Like previous editions, the 2024 Champions event is also following the double-elimination format for Group Stage and Playoffs. After the Group Stage, top eight teams (top two from each group) will advance to the Playoffs, where they will again go through the Double-Elimination Bracket to qualify for the Grand Finals. The VALORANT Champions 2024 Grand Finals will happen on August 25, 2024, where the best team will pick the trophy and US$1,000,000 first prize.
