Looking for the Lotus changes in the new patch update? VALORANT Episode 8 is finally coming out with the first patch update of 2024. Fans can rejoice as Riot Games has tons of new additions and optimizations for VALORANT Patch 8.0, which also includes multiple changes in the map Lotus.
Recently, developers unveiled the much-anticipated Lotus changes that players will experience in the next VALORANT Episode. For the unversed, some of the areas have been widened, while others have received a revamped design. Readers can learn more about all the Lotus changes in the following section:
All Lotus Changes In VALORANT Episode 8 (January 2024)
Here are all Lotus changes that Riot Games will roll out with VALORANT Patch 8.0:
A Main
Riot Games widened the back wall, making A Main more spacious. In addition to broadening the area, developers have also added some boxes, which are shown in the following picture:
A Link
For A Link, developers have added more space besides the breakable door, which is shown as follows:

A Hut
The famous A Hut will no longer serve as a tunnel, as Riot Games has turned it into an enclosure with three walls. The following picture depicts the upcoming Lotus change:
B Site
Developers have pushed the wall a bit back, but the plant location (B Site) has been narrowed down in comparison to its preceding layout. Here’s the picture featuring the changes to B Site in Lotus map:
C Site
Riot Games has moved and significantly reduced the C Site (Plant Location), which is quite visible in before and after pictures.
C Bend
The changes to C Site have impacted C Bend, where players will observe four boxes lying next to the pillar, alongside extended stairs, which were previously missing.
All changes will come into effect with the upcoming ‘Patch 8.0’ on January 8, 2024. Interestingly, the Icebox map, which is returning to the map pool in Episode 8, is also undergoing significant updates with the forthcoming patch update.
