A major reason for Valorant’s popularity in the esports world is its diverse selection of Agents, with each having its own lore. Depending on their fictional background and story, each Agent has a set of unique abilities that players can use in the shooting game. These skills can tip the balance in a team’s favor, especially when two or more teammates combine their abilities strategically for a win.

Brimstone, Sage, and Viper are the best Agents in Valorants for ability combinations due to their arsenal of slow, stuns, and area-of-effect (AoE) skills. Even without ability combos, they are exceptional units that can keep the enemy Attackers at bay with their abilities.
Top 5 Ability Combos In Valorant
Each Agent in Valorant has four abilities, which include an Ultimate ability. The Ultimate needs to be charged by either getting kills or capturing Orbs located all over the Map whereas other skills can be bought from Credits.
Listed below are some of the top ability combos in Valorant.
1. Sage’s Slow Orb and Viper’s Snake Bite
Both Slow Orb and Snake Bite cost 200 Credits for each charge, making it a cheap and effective ability combo. However, the timing of the two projectiles needs to be accurate. The moment Sage throws the orb, Viper should back it up with a Snake Bite. The Slow Orb will reduce enemy movement and enemies will struggle to escape the Snake Bite area, allowing teammates to deal double damage to their opponents.
2. Brimstone’s Orbital Strike and Sova’s Hunter Fury
Not only does this combo require Ultimates but it could very well need other skills to be successful. The Brimstone will need to activate his Ultimate, which unleashes a wide laser in a targeted area of the Map. Anticipating where the enemy might have moved to dodge the laser, Sova will then need to wallbang targets with his Ultimate. This difficult combo is made easier by Sova’s Owl Drone, which can be used to quickly inspect the location of enemies.
3. Astra’s Gravity Well and Sova’s Shock Dart
Astra is a difficult character to master but highly rewarding. She can also be a good team player, pulling enemies to a particular spot with her Gravity Well and allowing Sova to deal headshots with his Shock Darts. Astra’s Gravity Well can also make a great ability combo with Chamber’s Ultimate – Tour De Force. Gravity Well will pull enemies towards itself after which Chamber can easily snipe them.
4. Fade’s Nightfall and Neon’s Overdrive
This combination requires Ultimate activation from both players. Fade’s Nightfall unleashes a large wave of energy that Deafens opponents, temporarily reducing the HP of those caught in the wave, and also marking them. This can be capitalized with Neon’s Overdrive. Neon’s fast movement (footsteps) isn’t heard by the opponent due to the Defean debuff and she can swiftly take down the marked enemies by pointing electricity bursts at them.
5. Sage’s Slow Orb and Raze’s Paint Shells
One of the deadliest ability combos in Valorant, Sage and Raze can dominate entire rounds with their projectiles. Slow Orb prevents enemies from escaping Raze’s bomb which bursts into four smaller bombs before exploding. The total damage dealt by Paint Shells can eliminate up to three enemies in an area. Moreover, Sage’s Barrier Orb can create a wall that prevents enemies from escaping Raze’s Paint Shells.

You and your squad can still try to be creative and use other ability combinations to gauge their effectiveness. Sage’s Slow Orbs can be combined with Brimstone’s Incendiary or Orbital Strike, giving enemies little chance to escape Brim’s blazing attacks. Jett’s Updraft air lift can be used simultaneously with Neon’s High Gear speed to confuse an enemy and attack them from different sides.
