Th upcoming Shanghai-based competition is the second global VCT 2024 event after Masters Madrid, which happened in March. VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai Format
Although Riot Games has yet to reveal anything official around the seedings and format of the upcoming VCT event, players can expect a similar format like Masters Madrid. Teams will fight it out in double-elimination Swiss stage, followed by the playoffs.
The organizers have confirmed that the top four seeds in Playoffs, who have won the IL (International League) Stage 1, will get to pick their opponents. Furthermore, All matches will be played in best-of-three series, except for the finals, which will be fought in BO5.
