Valorant Challengers 2023: South Asia Split 1 League Stage opening actions
Riot Games and NODWIN Gaming organised Valorant Challengers South Asia in sponsorship with Hyundai, LOCO and Philips. The tournament is taking place in New Delhi as an offline event featuring a prize pool of ₹1.15 crore. The tournament has reached Day 2 with the match between Gods Reign vs Velocity Gaming. It was total domination from Velocity Gaming as the team claimed the match by 2-0 scores. The Group Stage actions are taking place. As of now, Velocity Gaming is leading the standing from Group A, while Orangutan leads in Group B after their win against Lethal Esports on the opening day.

A look at what happened so far in the tournament
As you all know, the tournament commenced on the 18th of March with the match between Orangutan vs Lethal Esports. Orangutan had an outstanding performance and secured the win with a 2-0 victory; both the games were dominated by Orangutan. Yesterday, the action between Gods Reign and Velocity Gaming took place. Velocity Gaming prevailed over Gods Reign and won the game by 0-2. A detailed match recap of the game is provided below.

· Game 1: The game began on the Haven map, and Velocity players began with straight 3-round wins. The first half ended with a score of 5-7, with ec1s and DEATHMAKER registering 11 kills each. The show started in the second half with both teams producing good gameplay, but it was ec1s and DEATHMAKER again who did the job for Velocity Gaming. The result was a win for Velocity Gaming, with a score of 11-13.
· Game 2: It began on Pearl map, and Gods Reign had a good display in the first half. The score was 7-5, with vibhoRR and tixx taking 11 kills each. ec1s and DEATHMAKER were consistent again, leading Velocity to a good start in the second half. Velocity Gaming made it 4-8 in the first half and won the game by 11-13. ec1s accumulated a total of 22 kills in the game.

Velocity Gaming produced great teamplay and came out as the winner of the first fixture on day 2 of Valorant Challengers South Asia Split 1. Gods Reign players did well, but in the end, it was Velocity’s game. ec1s produced an excellent gaming display and registered a total of 45 kills.
