After over a decade of publication, Kohei Horikoshi’s popular shonen manga series My Hero Academia finally came to an end. Chapter 430 of the manga, which came out on August 4, was the last installment. Although Deku lost all his powers, fans liked the sweet ending of the story as it reflected a beautiful future for all the characters.
What Happens To Class 1A Students After The Timeskip
Fans liked the final chapter of MHA particularly because it included a 2-year timeskip as well as an 8-year timeskip. We saw everyone graduate from the UA, including Deku and his friends. But Deku says that there is more to the story and we are taken to 8 years later when he is 25 years old. Izuku has now become a teacher at the UA and is a respected individual among the students. Unfortunately, he did not become a pro-hero as the embers of All For One burnt out by the time he graduated, leaving him quirkless once more.
Readers got to see the other class 1A students and their lives as well. Meso Shoji (Tentacole) is a respected pro-hero who has put much effort into stopping discrimination based on body-type. He receives the Imamura Peace Prize and dedicates to everyone who joined the protest eight years ago. We also see Iida (Ingenium), Yaoyorozu (Creati), Tsuyu (Froppy), and Uraraka (Uravity) touring elementary schools across the country to guide youngsters. It is revealed that Uravity’s efforts for Quirk Counseling have also reduced the number of villains in society.
Both Bakugo and Todoroki are now famous pro-heroes. But Bakugo has been losing some popularity points due to his extreme temper. Shoto on the other hand, is loved by all and has made his own identity away from his father, Endeavor. Deku reveals that Monoma and Honeuki are also pretty popular among the public. Readers then see posters of Tokoyami and Kirishima, who are also beloved heroes now.
The Ending Of Chapter 430 Was Quite Inspirational
Other characters such as Aizawa and Kota also appeared in the chapter. Aizawa is likely still a teacher at UA, with Kota being a student there. A little boy named Dai is revealed to be a student and wants to become a hero, just like Deku did when he was young.
But just as fans were feeling sad about Deku losing his quirks and his position as a hero, they came across a surprise. At the end of the chapter, All Might arrives to meet Izuku and gives him a gift. It turned out to be a specialized suit made by someone from the US and Hatsume. All Might revealed that Bakugo and all other former 1A students sponsored this for Midoriya. With the help of this suit, Deku can become a hero once again.
We see Hawks asking the heroes for help as there is a landslide. When the heroes appear, all the students from class 1A, including Deku, Mineta, Aoyama, Mina, and Hagakure are seen in one frame. The beautiful panel is accompanied by a text that says that every one of them will always reach out to those who need it. The timeskip was a beautiful addition to the vast and beloved saga and fans were glad to see a glimpse of their favorite characters for the last time.
