Even ahead of its release, one of the recurring questions was whether Spider-Man 2 will be on PC. Non-joystick gamers would like to experience the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales on the most-used platform following its release later this month.
Unfortunately, Spider-Man 2 will not be available on PC for the time being. Sony mentioned that the game is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 console during the official gameplay reveal. Nonetheless, we can hope to see the game be made available for PC as well as PS4 users down the line.

The competition between Sony and Microsoft is rapidly shifting to the PC gaming industry. The market is expected to grow substantially in the upcoming years so ‘PC-fying’ exclusive Xbox and PlayStation games are becoming a tried-an-tested method to generate hype and gain capital.
Former PlayStation exclusives like Uncharted 4, God of War, and Death Stranding gained much success on PC via Steam and other sites. Most importantly, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales ceased to be console-exclusive last year. The former even had a Remastered version debut on Steam in August and continues to get updates and features to this day.
Will Spider-Man 2 be on PC in the future? It will most definitely be available. A leak by Michael Patcher stated that Sony initially wanted to make the sequel as a multiplatform game with Xbox and PC. After their takeover of Insomniac Games, they decided to release the game exclusively on PS5 but there are clear hints that future Xbox and PC releases await developments.
A recent leak on X also revealed the estimated date of release for Spider-Man 2 on PC. According to @IronManPS5, “Nixxes Software will be developing the PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with new features for PC.” It could be alluding to a remaster. Moreover, a date of 2025 was given to purge the questions of whether Spider-Man 2 will be on PC.
Judging by the leaks and rumors on social media, PC gamers will of course get their hands on the RPG action/fighting game. But since they are leaks, always take them with a pinch of salt.
