What To Expect From Wind Breaker Chapter 149
The most recent installment covered yet another breathtaking fight with both Endo and Sakura struggling to gain the upper hand. The protagonist was resolved to not lose as he remembered Bofurin’s leader Hajime Umemiya and how he confronted dangerous enemies to keep the townspeople safe. In the end, Sakura won, although barely. Fans are excited about the next chapter since this fight being over means the story will finally put the spotlight on the battle between Chiika and Umemiya, who was currently brawling on the roof of Furin High School. As two of the strongest people in the whole story, their battle will be the peak of the manga. We might also see Haruka’s friends try to help him as the boy passes out after knocking Endo out.

The chapter, titled Do Or Die, began with Haruka thinking about how he only wanted to become the top dog of Furin High when he first came to the town. But he discerned that to reach the top, one has to have a clear goal in mind, much like Bofurin’s captain Umemiya. And though he could not figure out what he wanted to do at that time, he now wanted to protect the people of this town and live up to the expectations of his friends. At first, he had thought that Hajime saying he would never lose came from his confidence. However, now he recognizes it as his resolve to take care of those around him.

Sakura and Endo then attacked each other once more, both landing heavy punches on their opponent. Togame and Hiragi were shocked to see how much the boy had improved within such a short time and wondered how far he could go. Endo, on the other hand, felt euphoric while fighting the other guy and realized that Sakura makes him feel even more giddy than Chiika. Sakura recognized Yamato’s strength and thought that he could not win, but refused to give up.
He then proposes a deal to Endo, saying that if the latter loses, he will leave Furin alone. But if Sakura loses, he will go with him willingly. Even though his friends tried to protest, Yamato shushed them and said that Sakura couldn’t back out of the proposal. The two resumed their combat and after some really brutal attacks, Sakura headbutted Endo on the forehead, causing him to faint. Haruka also promptly passed out moments later while thinking about how not losing means not giving up until the very end.
