Wind Breaker Chapter 161 Recap
Titled ‘The Fog Lifts’ the issue begins with Arima, Kanuma, and Inugami sitting on the ground in front of Sako, who was screaming at them for eavesdropping. Inugami says that he’s glad Sako was able to clear up his miscommunication with Hiragi. He wishes Sako will talk to others more, which causes his senior to grab his head and scold him again. Hiragi smiles while looking at the scene and tells Sako to not get too mad since they are all looking out for him. Inugami, who is very energetic, introduces himself and strikes up a conversation with Hiragi.
Kaji then approaches Sako and thanks him for saving them during the fight against the Noroshi. It felt nostalgic to fight alongside both Sako and Hiragi again like they used to do in middle school. Kaji leaves to get food and Inugami calls Sako. The smiley junior tells him that Hiragi is a great guy when he remembers the Bofurin vice-captain asking him to take care of Sako. Inugami says he’s happy that Sako looks so much better now. Sako says that he feels better now because he’s gotten the answer he was looking for
The scene moves to Sakura, who is admonishing Tomiyama for taking the meat off the grill before it was done cooking. When Tomiyama calls him picky, some Bofurin first-years introduce themselves to him and start teasing Sakura. Nirei and Suo talk about how amazing Sakura is for beating Endo. Overhearing this, Nakamura tells them about the time Sakura told him that he could only beat Endo because he had his friends’ support. Umemiya re-enters the party and starts talking to everyone. The chapter closes with another shot of everyone raising their glass in celebration.
