Wistoria Wand and Sword Episode 4: What To Expect
The last episode ended with all of the Magia Vanders looking forward to the Grand Magic Festival which sounds like a Fairy Tail-esque competition to decide and determine the strongest mages. In the next episode we can expect more information on the Grand Magic Festival and what it entails for Will Serfort.
Wistoria Wand and Sword Episode 3: Recap
In Episode 3 of Wistoria, we saw how Will took on a job from Elfaria herself who needed lots of Frost cores for her experiments. Unfortunately for him, lots of other mages also responded to her call so most of the lower level Frost monsters were eliminated by them.
Will protects a Fourth Year student from some monsters and ends up fighting a Frost Rex- the strongest of the Frost monsters. He defeats it while the rescued student watches. She laters reveals herself to be an undercover reporter for the Magia Vander. She reports Will’s strength and potential- asking the Magia Vanders to start considering him as a worthy candidate for climbing the Tower.

This is when we meet 3 other Magia Vanders, namely- Zeo (Lightning), Elnor (Wind) and Cariot (Fire). While Elnor and Cariot outright deny Will’s potential, Zeo says he will accept anyone who’s strong even if they’re a dwarf. You can check out similar action fantasy anime here.
