Scheduled for a release this Friday, the Wuthering Waves 1.1 update will introduce the new region Mt. Firmament. The secluded island serves as the ancestral homeland of Jinzhou and was the place where Sentinel Jue first descended. On a fitting note, Mt. Firmament will open its doors to players at the same time when Jue appears as a catchable Echo in Version 1.1.
Details For Upcoming Traces of Mt. Firmament Event In Wuthering Waves 1.1 Version
A couple of events will accompany the release of the island of Mt. Firmament in Wuthering Waves 1.1. The Tales from Mt. Firmament area exploration event is going to add to the lore of the region, consisting of battle challenges, exploration, and gathering quests. On the other hand, the Traces of Mt. Firmament Event will be rather simpler and less time-consuming.
According to a preview shared by Kuro Games, Traces of Mt. Firmament Event in Wuthering Waves will be a photo collection event beginning on June 28 and ending on August 13, 2024. Players can explore the new region and capture the scenery with their cameras to earn rewards.
The event will be in the form of a clue hunt. Players have to investigate the surroundings and find the specific spots from which they can take pictures. The prompt to click a photo will automatically appear once players reach the target location and they can save the images in their phone or PC storage.
Alternatively, players can open the Main Menu and select the Camera Icon near the bottom right to click pictures. It is located next to the Settings option in Wuthering Waves.
Requirements & Rewards For Traces of Mt. Firmament Event
Completing the ‘Scale of Past’ side quest is the only requirement to unlock the Traces of Mt. Firmament Event. However, to obtain the side quest, players must finish the ‘Jinzhou Rising: Thaws of Eon’ main quest. There is no Union Level requirement.

Notably, Kuro Games mentioned in a previous notice to the community that they will be increasing the amount of rewards for each event in Version 1.1. All eyes are on the upcoming photo collection event.
Version 1.1 of Wuthering Waves will begin with Jinhsi appearing in the Featured Resonator Convene. Jinhsi’s Wuthering Waves signature weapon is also expected to appear on the banners, allowing players to maximize the damage potential of the Magistrate of Jinzhou from the get-go.
